How to find keywords from competitors

We will use our own example to demonstrate how to find keywords from competitors and briefly analyze the data. By entering the competitor's domain name in Semrush, we can obtain a batch of data.

For example, if I enter "SurferSEO.com", we can get the data in the above figure. I usually look at two: Authority Score (AS for short): The trustworthiness of a website. Based on my experience, websites with an AS value exceeding 20 will gradually increase their traffic. Organic Search Traffic: Natural search traffic. This is very important, this is the effect of SEO drainage. Paid Search Traffic: Paid search traffic. If this is high, it means they are investing heavily in advertising.

You can first take a look at the traffic situation. The higher the AS value and Organic Search Traffic, the higher the competition difficulty. Keywords are more worth paying attention to.

Keyword data

Let's take a look at the keyword data. First of all, we can observe the overall situation of the opponent's natural search traffic. In the of the website data page, you can see this screenshot:

We can see the highest traffic search keywords, the distribution of all keywords in Google search rankings, and the distribution of keyword search intentions. We can also further observe the intelligence of all keywords, as shown in the figure below.
